  6. This is version 2.6 of Sample-X, a MIDI driven sample player for the Amiga. 
  7. The latest released version in Aminet has been v2.2, which is really buggy 
  8. when used along with Bars&Pipes Professional. This one works perfectly with
  9. B&P and has some new features. I've been using the software for a couple of 
  10. years now with B&P and have no problems with it.

  12. This one is kind of an internal beta version and is registered to me (includes
  13. my original keyfile which I paid for...). Since Sheun's accelerator blowed up,
  14. he ceased development but gave me his permission to release this last version 
  15. with my keyfile. If you want to read the full feature list etc. check out 
  16. SamX22.lha and SamX22.readme in mus/midi.

  18. If you have trouble starting the program, try deleting the 'sx.cfg' config 
  19. file and try again...

  21. I'd like to see someone take over the development of this fine program (the 
  22. ONLY real choice if you need proper audio playback in Bars&Pipes..!), so you 
  23. could try mailing Sheun and ask for the source code. :)
